You are probably better off to get a custom manifold made. There is a guy in Hamilton that makes them, and he made mine. There's a Vw specialty shop on Concession on Hamilton, and he can refer you to the other guy. I can't find the business card but I'm pretty sure it's called VW Specialties. 411 should be able to find it for you. The turbo I'm using is a rebuilt 1984 Nissan 300Z turbo. Don't get a 1985 turbo because they are water cooled, and it's not useable on the VW head. (No water jacket access). The 1984 300Z turbo is a Garret T03, 60 series if I remember correctly, and works great on my 2l 16v. The turbo might cost you 100 at a junkyard, and the manifold cost me 450. I'm not sure if you can find a TDI in a junkyard or not, but the manifold and turbo together are probably going to be expensive. Good luck!! Let me know how you do.

You can use the manifold and turbo from the 1.9TD motors.
You can also use the turbo and manifold from an audi 4000 turbo, but you gotta get one of the runners cut off and a piece of metal welded over

here is some of the manifolds that a good freind of mine in kingston makes and his pricing is very competitive...
and he ships to a store in Toronto so i'm sure you can work out some shipping deals!

They will fit, but the ports are super small. Opening them up would be a real PITA as the manifold is cast iron.
