I'm from down East but have been into the VW scene for a long time. Just happened upon your site here and wanted to become part of it. I may not be able to offer any more than you already have here but if I can offer anything useful, I will! :thumbsup:

No you cant. Never put any addetives in your VW. Putting in addetives means your adding more chemicals into your car.

You can run a something like Diesel Kleen by Power Service (http://www.powerservice.com/faq/default.asp). It boosts the cetane level, helps to keep injectors clean and supposedly reduces immisions. It's perfectly safe in the TDI engines. Many of the guys here have run it for years without any complaints. I put a "glug" (about 250ml) in every tank. It really depends on the quality of fuel you run as well. Irving "Clean" Diesel is one of the better fuels on the market right now but I'm not sure how for west they have it. There is a difference between their regular diesel and their "clean" diesel. TdiClub.com has a really active chapterin your area. Check them out in the forums section of the site, they'll have a better idea of where the best fuel in your area is.
