Whats a GTX though?

1.8l 16v dohc. basically a scirocco engine in an 89 Jetta.

Put in a 2L with a fuel enrichment... the're cheap nowdays anyway. 400-500 will get you a decent one

right now she is at about 320k. gonna rebuild her soon. she still pulls like no tomorrow, but i bet it could be better!

Hmm, I've got an extra 2l 16v engine and tranny sitting here, with the fuel dizzy, and you've got a spare Jetta....
