new here...94 golf question..
I just got a 94 golf but it has no heat. car runs fine so I going to change the thermosate this weekend. This should take care of my problem
thanks |
Theres a few things that can be wrong;
- Change your coolant(As in flush the whole system with new G12 coolant[ONLY G12 FROM VW. NOTHING ELSE!!!]) - Heater core<--expensive fix |
I second the heater core.
Diagnose the problem properly before spending a whole heep of money trying to find out whats wrong yourself |
im having this same problem in my 95 Jetta 2.0....
I will take a look at the thermostat....hopefully its not the heater core!! yikes |
what's the reading on your temperature gauge? Does your car have AC?
|
Temp is normal and yes the car has AC (if you were talkin to me lol)
|
Heater-core is an easy job to take care of and cheap to find.
