Recirc BOV Vs Non recirc on 2.0t
so whats the deal? performance difference? or..
someone fill me in.. i wana put a hks ssqv on my 06 gli do i have to recirculate it.. any tips.. ect. thanks brian |
HKS is over rated. You will lose power and if you want to get HKS, yes you will need to recirculate it because IF I am not mistaken, the stock DV sits on the intake boot and attaches to the intercooler piping via long rubber tube. To put an HKS on a 1.8T motor(I know yours is FSI) you'd need an adapter kit for it.
Get a forge DV, it works just as good for half the price(if not more) |

Forge DV for the win. Ive got a few friends running it and they haev said nothing but good things about it.
Also in that DIY thread, it could cause you to lose boost and knowing VW's it'll throw a check engine light. Also you might want to look into warranty purposes as you dont want to void your warranty by putting that ish on. |
DV isn't a BOV. You're probably thinking FORGE SPACER for the PSSSSH sound =O)
