Mike from C&M ran 9.536 @ 148.6mph in his VR6 jetta. He also holds the fastest trap, 156mph on another run a few days ago. The car should go at least 9.4 by the end of the season :thumbsup

I bet u the Jetta has more then $150,000 in it as well...

But the point is... VW's are hard to get to go that fast...

No it doesn't... The car doesn't have any big sponsors, and the owner of the car doesn't have that kind of money. He probably spend about a 1/3rd of that.
Oh and the jetta traps 20mph higher... it will go quicker than 9.5

the VW is an actual car shell with a fiberglass front end to clear the slicks

the Honda is a tubular frame with a fiberglass body over it.....hardly fair comparing the two isnt it...
