I think the only option is to take one of the tour buses there and rent a cab when you get there. That is probably your only option. On the upside, trips there are not that pricey from what i hear.

no its not a gas issue or else i wouldnt have bought the blazer in the first place, ive taken it to the u.s. without problems its not anything like that, im going with a bunch of friends and they dont like to drive trucks/vans so we're renting a car

i dont know what exactly happens if police pulls u over and ur 18, driving a rental with ur name not on the papers? would i be stuck in ottawa with no ride and a ticket? or what?

what do you think the cops are going to say when they pull you over and see that the car is not yours. just cause you have insurance and a licence doesnt mean you are on that persons insurance... man if you think someone here is going to give you their car your a bloody moron.

If you get someone to rent a car for you, sometimes the cops won't do anything. Raj rented a 300c for prom and he brought it to school and let us drive it and . We were ****ing around with, burnouts, excessive speeding and driving down the same damn street like 50 times with different people driving it lmao. Someone called the cops, and he asked whose car it was. Raj told him his dad rented it; the cop made raj call his dad and make sure the story was legit. Then he was like drive safe and went on his way :thumbsup:

back in highschool, one of my friends' parents rented him an excursion for prom. we were killing it around the school parking lot and the cops came. they just asked to see his drivers license and let us go. we were both around 18 at the time.
