once you break into 10's it isnt about power..

you got to think.. like grant said it doesnt have the torque a camaro or some other car would.. whihc is what most of you are comparing numbers to im sure..

and once you get 1400 horses.. its not about power.. its about getting it all to hook up.. a 1000 hp supra would prob be faster than a 1400 hp supra do to the fact that he could get traction. i would have ot go back and watch it to make sure.. but if he is running low 10's at like 140+ mph then he has traction problems.. not uncommon with 1400 horses..

yea 143.58 hes def slipping off the line. .

you see the other guy ran a 11.26 but he was only at 128 mph.. big mph difference.. small et difference,,

Or maybe it is because Supra's with high boost have a crappy torque curve. From a roll, I don't know a car that could take on those two.

Just like the 600 HP Supras running 12s. It doesn't make sense if you look at the horsepower, until you look at torque, and the powerband of the car.

I seen the Supra with the WOTM on the side. IT is the 1400 hp supra. Seen it in a mag but can't remember which rice burner mag. Also he posted a 8.97 since that video was taken. Now his e.ts might be way lower if you go to wotm.com that supra is the wotm owners car.

it is, those supras ran horrible times even on a downhill track! espically if they have that much hp. I mean the ZL1 hits a 9.8 on a flat track and thats 770hp.

Look at the Turbo Truck it only has like 700 Hp or somethink like that it did the 1/4 in 10.8 I belive I know it is 4 wheel drive but it is heaver also but I m sure it have twice the toruqe too!!

its the sport compact Car mag. issue NO.9 the 04 septemeber issue...lol..not a rice fan , but supra's are probally the only rice i like.(besides eating rice)
