2007 Power Tour
Well the Power Tour made a stop by me yesterday. I was at work so I couldn't see all the cars but here's some pictures I took today at Great Lakes Dragway where they had the driver's meeting and free breakfast for power tour people.
It kept raining so when I left they still weren't running cars on the track which sucks for them.
Oh and I saw the 2005 Corvette that was on Horsepower TV where they installed the STS twin turbo kit. I talked to the owner which ended up being a super nice guy. I asked him about the kit and such and he said he absolutly loves it. He just ordered a 2008 Viper and told Rick as soon as he makes a kit for it that he want's one.
The guy said he use to have supercharger kits on his cars but he really like's the STS kit a lot better. I know the kit has its opponents(sp) but he loves it and that's all that matter's to him. Plus he's making 590rwhp right now which you can't complain about but he is building up the motor and plans to make around 1,000hp at the flywheel.
The other pictures I took can be seen here.

What time did you leave Chad?
We got there around 8:15 or so.
We stayed for the drivers meeting and saw a couple of cars run.
We left to cruise through the tour route which was alot of fun.
Alot of locals were watching all of the cars drive through their town.
We went dowtown yesterday and looked around for awhile after the rain stopped and then drove around by all of the hotels to look at the cars.
I've been on the Power Tour 5 times.Never the whole thing, but always atleast 3 legs.Always alot of fun.

Man, there's too many stickers all over that 'vette. It really uglies it up. I'm sure he's got to have all of them on there since most, if not all, of his mods were comped. I'd rather pay for them myself so I didn't have to have all those stickers on my new Corvette.
