The H1 isn't that spectacular..I drive the military ones every month which are supposed to be better than the civilian H1 and am not impressed. For less than half the price you can make a Wrangler or Cherokee or even a Grand Cherokee out manuever a H1 in just about everything except exclusivity.
The only thing the H1 has going for it is the ground clearance. The planetary drive nice and gives awesome side-to-side clearance, but they are too long and get hung up in the middle too easily.
