I didnt know TTops came with a colored roof.. I thought they were all black. hm.
I personally like the color of the car on the roof too, but each to his own.
I thought the antenna was the other mod, but I guess I never looked before. Cool plate, btw.

GM did some changes between the Z's and 6ers between the years, I forget now but some year Z's had black mirrors and tops, some had body color top with black mirror etc..
If you know the scheme its pretty easy to guess the year of a Z just by looking at the color scheme, unless its black of course.

I already knew a lot of you wouldn't like it as much, (which is totally cool) I'm just going for the Meanest look I can without painting the whole car Black.
Yes the Obvious change is that I had the top painted black, and it was actually for the reason Grant said at the end of his second post. Even though he prefers the white top, he said: "You still have one of the Meanest cars here". (thanks BTW) I've aways stated that I hate white, therefore I plan on giving it as mean a look as possible.
When I see completely White Camaros (any gen) driving down the road around here, 95% of them are driven by Bleached Blonde Skanks with teased hair.
Several of you have already mentioned the second thing...........it WAS the new plate!!
I asked for suggestions about to 2 months ago, and it came down to [1WIKEDZ] or [ATTNGTR] ........the rest is history. No, I just like the look of an ALL BLACKED OUT TOP vs. Tinted w/ the White Hair band. I won't paint the mirrors though, cuz I think the white flows better from the fender into it. The next Mod will be the Black hood scoop fill-in like the 35th Anniversary SS Hoods.
Anyway, here's a few more...(plate first)....I'm just happy I finally have something to see a good reflection in. Check out how much reflection the paint has!

Don't worry Arch, I like the black band with the white car, I wasn't a fan of the hair band..the black matches the tinted windows- I think it improved the look of the car a lot- good job!!

I just think it makes the car look better without the white targa roof facing forwards. From the side, I like to imagine my car has a streamline flow going towards the rear, but it's hard to see when that panel's direction is facing forward.

Now only focus on that top white band of the car. To me it now looks out of place, especially in the last picture!

After lookin at it some more I am really startin to like the black.. Iv always liked the black roofs though.. Did you think about paintin your door handle too? Never could understand why GM made the door handle and mirrors a different color.. Seems kinda odd to me..
