Well just thought I'd post a picture of the two rides together. The excursion is the "tow" vehicle/grocery getter. I know, It's a ford but I was sick and tired of chevy trucks breaking all the time. So, figured I would get the toughest truck made. Well that's my drivers, also got a 86 pontiac in the garage that has 40k orig. miles waiting for my son to turn 16. Was my grandfathers and he left it to me. Not my style but a good big first car for my son.

Sadly, the beast is the excursion. It has a little assisted force of air to the motor. and it is a v-10 and weighs 4 tons. I think it would hang with the z.
Debating sts turbo for the z. Can't have the truck keepin up with the z.

sts is a cool setup but you lose the dual tailpipes, then again like 100-150 horse is worth it

Well don't play the lottery or go to vegas, you would probably lose. Now if we were talkin other than a straight line, yes my z would win. The truck does have some serious power, almost scary. Went a little overboard with it. But hell it is really nice towing with it. But I'm not on here to talk about the ford. Just thought it would be cool to show a little picture of the two.I'm here to maybe get others suggestions and inputs to mods to the z. Figured the guys that have owned them know a whole hell of alot more than the guy that just got his z last november.

He is right my friends dad has a V-10 excustion and it is about dead even with my camaro but mine is only a 305 best time in the 1/4 was 16.4 in my slowmaro.
