yeah... if you have a cheaper camera, its most likely "night setting" or just turn the flash off.

On more expensive cameras, aperature and exposure go hand in hand...aperture is how wide the hole for allowing light in is, and then set how long you want that light to expose for the picture.. adjust for perfect lighting in any setting. In case you wanted to know

Exactly. There's actually quite a bit involved in taking a good picture, it's not just point and click if you want it to look really good in all honesty.

Also remember, evening is the best time to take pictures with the sun to your back No strong shadows, harsh lights, and the shadow's will be less likey to appear in the picture. I also try to wait for a good overcast day to get rid of all the shadow's put still have good lighting. Plus you get a lot more time to take pictures since you don't have to worry about the sun going down.

**** i got it!!!!!!!!!! k theres a setting for PROGRAM. it has aperture priority and then manual exposure. manual exposure just takes 3 pics for some reason, but on aperture priority it takes a pic, counts to 4, then has a loading bar and then BAM the pic is BRIGHT! ima upload a before and after. i bet somewhere in the settings i can change the time. **** dude i had no idea my camera was that detailed. my dad told me konica minolta was good...i guess so.

ok **** i got it. i dont know how to tweat the manual exposure, and i dont know what it does, but with aperture priority i can adjust the setting for exposure +/- in .2 intervals. so i took the first pic with no flash, nothing special. second pic is 2 seconds exposure, last one is 4 seconds.

am i getting it right now fellas? i guess its even more important i get a tripod. lol.

yes... just play around with it. get a tripod also haha..

Remember tho, anything indoor is not how its going to look outdoor... flashes might look good inside, but wont do **** outside. your contaning a burst of light when its reflecting off walls or other objects.. outside, it just goes in all directions and doesnt do anything... its basically worthless unless you are like 2 feet from your car, in which it doesnt make for any good pictures.

just play around with it, who cares... take some weird pictures. here, look at my last 'shoot' with my rims...

see the difference? I like playing with settings.. somtimes it makes it look cooler.
