Hey guy i've been working on my rx7 here and there whenever i have time to work on it. It been a long year. I was hoping to of had it on the road the past summer but that didn't happen. Looks like Joe will be building my engine in a month or so. I'm almost done my centre consol and dash. I added and changed a lot of things on the car this past here.

This is what the car looks like





Garth and i made a wing for the car.











Powdercoated the wing satin black


Then i modifed the cage. I cut the old door bars off and welded some in once in.





Then i painted the cage satin black

















Then i cleaned and painted the engine bay satin black







Then i took the front apart, front control arms, subframe, end-links swap bar, all nuts/ bolts and powdercoated it all. Also put in new pulyurethane bushings.

















Then i did the floor.

Now all thats left is the dash, building the engine, wiring up the car and tunning.

right on, looks good, like the cage in that car. what exactly can you do to build a rotary engine short of port work?

Theres a lot that can be done to rotary. Porting is one of the biggest things but theres a lot of things that can be done inside the engine, rotor clearncing, coolant mods, oil jets and etc. but the other big thing is tuning. Theres a lot of tricks that can be done in tuning to make a rotary make a lot of power.

yeah, that shot is a little too close, I want to see a side shot from further away. I want to see how flush the spoiler looks from the side. just remember to take one when your at the shop again (or where ever its stored).

nice, looks like you bought speed machines old Rx7 atleast it went to go hands. You guys still building that Rx7 for pro class in cscs ?

Yes it the Speed Machine Shell but not the engine setup. Still the same Turbo setup. When i got the car it wasn't running right. We took the engine apart and found out it just wasn't up to par for us. So we build a different engine took it to the dyno made some good power then i changed my mind and changed the porting, so were building a new engine again. I also changed the cage abit just to make it easier to get in and out of the car. Yes i'm still building a car for cscs. I have a rx8 shell sitting around here so i might just use it.

Yes it is. i had the shell for sell last year before i made any changes to the car. I ended yup keeping the car, its just so hard to let go of it.

Thanks that would be pretty cool with a pro-charger lol. At One point in time i was thinking of doing a ls1 swap just because. Plus i had an engine just sitting around.
