First of all, I admire you Justin for stepping up over there and speaking your mind about your friend. 
Not always easy to do when the majority are admiring this guy's car.
I have my opinions about what he did, but I have to at least mention that he did in fact talk to Chad first about it, and as I expected,....Chad said exactly what I would have. As we ALL know.....this guys car will never be as nice as Chads, and I think that if he's willing to go so far out of his way to try and make it look like Chads.....to me it's almost like a compliment.
I definitely like all those things about Chads car better though, like the black side mirrors, the taillights, the exhaust, and everything else that's already been mentioned. I'd have to say that one of the reasons I'm doing mine like Grants Chop, is that I doubt anyone else would ever go with Bright-A$$ Tangerine Flames over White.
Besides.....I've been feeling like a copy-cat myself lately. My car looks very similar to Loochy 88's car,....and,... even though he told me that he likes it,....I'd rather have a One-Off that nobody else has.

I don't know about the rest of you, but wouldn't you take it as a compliment that someone likes your style enough to copy it? I would only mind if there were near me, but if they were a couple states over, what difference does it make??
I had more than one person trying to copy my old car, and I've had a lot of people ask about this one. I figure, if someone likes it enough to want to copy it, I (we) must be doin something right...

Hell, all the red lt1's look like mine.....either I'm coping or they are...lol But seriously, I think it is a real compliment to want to copy someones car. Put it this way, if an elite car designer, like say Foose created a kick *** looking F body, and you copied it cause you liked it, would you then be a douche bag?

If someone to get something on their car because I had it, i would take it as a compliment. Although someone with alot of the simular features of the car and they decide to do something that makes it more like my car, I wouldnt kinda be mad. If they live next door, or in Cali.. Its cool to take ideas from peoples cars, because thats normal. But to have a "twin" doesnt work for me.. I would want my car to be the only one (that I would know of) that looks how it does.. But i dont know..

you know with colors like red and black there are gonna be cars that look a little like yours. I would say its a complement to have someone want to look like mine. But thats also why we always have plans to do something more. Its the little things at a show that catch your eye. If those two were next to eachother at a show people would pick out all the suttle differnces that make chads car look better lol.
