thats fantastic. ive seen those motors in dsms, pickup trucks, a honda civic, a mini cooper, and a few other cars. for all i know he could be sticking it into a lawnmower, lol

details, just a rough sketch: forged bottom end 9.0:1 comp. ratio fully built head, ported, Crower everything... 1150cc's, 2900 ACT, aeromotive A1000 pump last but not least - GT4094R |
looks great...
right on. what kind of numbers yo hoping to make? and what are you doing to the ret of the drive train?
Looks good. How much $ into it so far?
. |
shooting for 600 and change, as for the power train, the rear has a factory LSD in it,theyre good for 700hp plus no problem. the tranny is the problem though, since i dont have any money left in the budget for this year, ill keep everything stock until next summer...shep. racing or magnus built tranny.
money wise, roughly : bottom end - 3000 top end - 2500 fuel setup - 2000 exhasut side - 3000 intake side - 1500 - including intercooler and BOV and all that drive train - 1200 t-belt side - 7-800 gauges and management system - 2500 and all the little like lines fitting and flanges - 500 probably forgot a few things and thats without the exhaust system |
Sounds like fun, what are you using it for, street or track? What kinda numbers are you hoping for at the track?
its going to be street mainly. if i make it to the track this year it wont be for 1/4 time it will be for mph time, hoping to hit 135+.
ill try my luck with 1/4 times next year when the drive train is solid |
