FINALLY installed my DRLs
alright i finally got around to installing my DRLs:
i'll get some night pics tonight. and since this is the third switch the area under my cd player was getting cluttered with wires, so i took 2 minutes and made a ghetto switch panel:
cardboard and electrical tape baby! from left to right: DRLs, manual fan switch, amp i dont have yet, then power antenna. this is just temporary. this weekend or next my dads gonna help me make one outta wood then i'm going to cover it in black vinyl. its gonna look nice. for anyone who wants to do it on a 93-96 heres the walkthrough i used:

You know what's funny?
I actually disconnected my Ambient Light Sensor so my headlamps weren't automatic anymore. I drive around with the headlamps off, and only the parking lamps/fog lamps activated (if it's not too dark).
You went through all the trouble of installing the same thing I deactivated.
I bet the cardboard switch panel gets mad crazy biitches though. :banghead:

Up here, we're required to have amber reflectors in those lamps... most of us get away with amber bulbs. I take it they're not as picky about that kind of crap down there, eh?

the low element on the drivers side (ie. parking light) isnt working. the side bulb, the 194, is, so maybe a wire came off or the bulb itself is bad. so because of this i couldnt get a parking lights shot.
so heres the DRLs at night:
