Thumbs up First Pics of my car in the "SUN"

First of all, check out the sky in the new Avitar.....that's actually blue sky you see!
I can not believe how warm and sunny it was today....the perfect day to follow up the Hawks making it to the SuperBowl for the first time ever! Well anyway, I got up nice and early today, and busted A$$ cleaning my baby from top to bottom, front to back, and inside out! It felt really good though, getting all those months of dirt and grime off of her. Don't get me wrong.....she's been washed and vacuumed on a weekly basis, but nothing like today.....she's sport'n a new coat of Meguires (Gold Class) Wax, Vinyl and Rubber Protectant, and Leather Conditioner.

Today was all about Cruis'n with the T-tops off, and the Tunes Cranked! I was Blast'n ~ Metallica, Korn, Godsmack, Disturbed, Ozzy, AC/DC, Led Zepplin, and my old buddies "Alice in Chains",.... and if the forcast is correct, it looks like I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow!

Well,...I've rambled on enough, so here are the first pictures of my car in the sun.......

(Edited) ~ The batteries in my camera died, so when I replaced them and started shootin again, I forgot to set it to the smaller setting. So in order to see more pics at the lake, you'll have to look at them in my gallery page. Sorry, I'm still illiterate and a little brain damaged

Actually, I'm still running the stock Bose CD deck with the Audiobahn 6.5" AS65Q speakers in the door, and 6.5" DUB speakers in the rear panels. I had the local Stereo shop install a Hi-Lo switch, so that I could hook up my UL1600M 800W MonoBlock Amp, that powers an MA Audio 12" Competition Sub.

As soon as my 88 Fiero GT sells, I'll be Installing all those Audiobahn Components I have in my photo gallery. I'll be pushing around 1800W RMS through that System.

Nice looking ride. Did you have any alignment problems when you dropped her?

Talking Sorry, I've been away from my computer for about a week.

It's been over a month, and I still haven't aligned it yet! I dropped it down on Dec. 23rd using all new suspension parts, and as a general rule, it's recommended to drive it anywhere from 200-500 miles, so that everything has a chance to settle in. Surprisingly enough it tracked very straight and felt pretty sturdy right from start. It seemed as if the passenger side was settling in first by the ride height, but after about a week, the measurements I took were almost Identical. After the settling in period, I had everything retorqued and regreased, but I still haven't got around to aligning it yet.

It's never pulled one way or the other and has actually shocked me by how "smooth" the ride is. The advertised lowering on these particular springs called for a 1.5" drop, but my car sits exactly 2.1" lower than when I started. I'm sure part of it has to do with the adjustable shock/strut combo I went with,.....because normally that much drop means a very stiff bouncy ride. They're 8 way adjustables, and I set all 4 of them right in the middle,.....so unless I decide to run her at the track, I think I'll just keep them right where there at.

As far as the tailpipes go Matt, I couldn't agree with you more,....I hate the way it looks right now, but the reason they do look like that, is because my ground effects weren't ready when I had my exhaust done. So,......I had no choice but to take the rear one with me in order to make sure they would clear once I put them on. Thankfully my paint guy called me last night and informed me that his bosses 39 Chev pick-up is done, which now means he can finally get my GFX and SS hood done. Actually my rear spoiler is already done.....I just need to get it mounted. Hopefully after I get all this stuff on it, it will look a lot better!

Thanks a lot for the comments, I appreciate it. If I can get my Fiero GT sold here in the near future, I can do some of the things Grant did for me in my Concept Picture. I was amazed by how much I liked it, that I decided not to paint my car black. So we'll see what happens.

Later ~
