yeah, i think those slips are old ones. Really old. The car has been racing since 1970, lol. I'll be getting more pics of the car soon at the next car show in Oct., and he wants me to come take the pics he is going to be sending into the next magazine.

Here are some short videos of my SC for fun.
This one is the SC drag racing a Camaro back in the early to mid 80's. The SC had a all stock AMC 390 in it as he was just using the car for fun at this time. The car now has its original engine back in it that was running the quarter mile in 12.61 back in the early 70's,

I like all Muscle cars but have yet to see one I can call ugly. I have always been fond of Camaros but I always wnted to own something different.
The SC/Ramblers are rich with muscle car history but were forgotten by many. Few Big three owners choose to remember when they got beat or when thay barely beat a Rambler, these cars were built to embarress and they did a lot of it.
Thanks to ( Danielle & MAYHEM ) for taking the photos (she does a great job) and posting them here. It makes me happy when someone does this as the SC's are now being talked about more often. It is OK if someone doesn't like the SC as I understand they are not for everyone.
Check out this site below to see a ONLINE CAR SHOW. Lots of great cars here and you can vote on them all. There are nice Camaros along with everything else,

It's ugly.
Just remember that this Rambler body had been around for years as your Grandmas 6 clyinder car. AMC knew that they were going to drop the Rambler name so they decided to send that body style out in a blaze of glory. This is a true example of a muscle car, family car body with a big engine and race car parts. Here is something cool about them, they are the only muscle car that had fully reclining seats.
I to feel that Camaros & Mustangs along with many other pony cars had a better body style. Please remember that back in in 1969 performace and price were first and looks were second as long as it stood out in a crowd (even if ugly), and a radio in most cases was just more weight, Man has things changed or what.
AMC really had great muscle cars but didn't have the money of the Big Three. They couldn't offer enough body styles let alone change them every couple years.
Here is a photo of the same body as a regular Rambler Rogue of which the Hurst SC/Rambler was built.
My Hurst SC/Rambler (B) paint scheme, you can see a difference in the image that the two cars showed.
Through the three year run of this basic body there were only like 19,000 of them made, 1,512 were turned into Hurst SC/Ramblers. The SC/Ramblers were budget race cars that gave a lot for little money.
Thanks,
Matt

ouch.
Hi, Matt!
To each their own on what's ugly or not. I love the Javelin, but most people I know don't, including my husband. But I want one. Just like this, but a different color.
Same with a '58 Fury. I would take one of those over any Camaro but my own.
