LOve the car, but stop calling it a Ford just because it has that symbol up front.

The body is british, Gearbox is british, steering rack from Aston, Chassis tuned by Lotus, German wheels and brakes from Italy.
only thing american is the Power and even thats tamed and harnssed by Europeans.

Reason why I love the Ford GT so much, american power in the right hands.

Could you have used any more quotes from Top Gear? It's still a Ford.

Hellbent 09-06-2006 01:38 PM

who me, :lol_hitti
well its true. isnt it.

but anywayz, love the car, Iam guessing its not a Series one (or First Edition), otherwise carefull of that suspension. ;)

ALLAN_M 09-06-2006 01:39 PM

Ford's better handling cars are usually rebadged Euro Fords... ie, the Contour and Focus...

When American Ford is left to build a nice handling car, they seem to really half-ass it... 2006 Mustang using a live rear axle? What the hell is that! It's not 1985 anymore.

mx3autozam 09-07-2006 05:56 AM

I will say the look nice but its still a ford

And its because of that Live-Axle that the Mustang GTR race cars in Can-Am series have had easy wins according to the pilots. in the right environment and right driving style, Live-Axle is more than enough to keep up with the new guns.

and Our current North American Focus is still the Old Generation Focus just made to look like the new Euro Focus, still same old chassiss and mechinacls.
The new Euro-Spec Focus are pure sex machines, especially the Focus ST,
5-Cylinders of Turbocharged happynes. All their waiting right now is for the new RS to show, Turbo+AWD+Small light body= *Drooollss*
