my parents "bought my car" for me. (They already bought the car for me, I was paying them back every month with payments, they "gave it to me" for my birthday so I don't pay them anymore) Financial planning is great and all, but no matter what, you're still a spoiled *****.

i don't think having a trust fund and bonds is spoiled. Its more his parents care about his future than anything. I wish my parents would have done the same thing because i would be in school right now.

Oh, and for the record, I never recieved any sort of trust funds or bonds, I make less than minimum wage.. and I'm 23, I don't think you can really school me on finances, good try though.

"Today is Friday, April 8, 2005"
You last signed in on April 9, 2005"
haha. wtf?
anyway...yes, this is ********, but if i were you and got a trust fund of 25k, i'd save that a bit longer. honestly, if its for your future, 16 is way too young to spend it. save it for a down payment on a condo.

I hate you for this. I envy you for this so much. You have absolutely nothing to worry about in your whole life. Listen to how the next 10 years of my life are going to turn out.:
Graduate high school and working at random crappy jobs just get a little money and afford my current car and move out. Get student loans for my college at ITT tech (multimedia and design). Get job being a bank teller at 18 making 13 an hour starting until i can get a job that i get through college. Take out a personal loan for my dream car (ls1 ss). and pay off those loans for the next 10 years of my life working at that same job i get from college. NOW...go to hell you bastard rich kid.
