Jap cars have to have both front and rear plates, so if it is a Japanese car, he took the plates off for the picture. Also, JCI and GOJ Inspection stickers are required by law, and they are not to be seen.. but then again, I don't have my glasses on. If any of you have better eye sight than me, they should be in the middle of the glass, right where the rear view mirror is.

Also, the fold away mirrors are pretty much mandatory in Japan due to the lack of parking and people taking it upon themselves just to park on the side of highways (2 lane highways) and stuff.
