KornFest Auto Show

Today was the anual KornFest Autoshow in Holmen, WI.. Me and Paarman97maro and another freind went there from 8am-5ish pm. I got many pictures of the event here are links to them. I also got a bad sunburn... eh ohwell. The sun was good tho. I took 300 photos and when I left I was still at full battery because it didnt have to use the flash ever.

Heres a nice 1999 Trans-Am Ws6 30th anniversary edition. I didnt evenknow they made these untill I saw one today. The guy told me it ha 6k miles on it.. It still had a newcar smell to it heh.

Here are some photos of Justin's maro (Paarman97maro) and our other freind also called Justin.. He has a nice 1994 Mustang GT. Paarman's car has been the cleanest I have ever seen it and it really did look awesome in person.
You can see his new tinted windows and repainted interior parts in the photos.

wow, it was really fun, and I'm glad that everyone made it. Me and Justin got our cars judged, but we did not win. IMO, the judges looked for the wrong thing. Our late model sports car category included: 1994 Mustang GT, My Camaro, 1994 Mustang GT, a late 80s formula 50 firebird, A limited edition Monte Carlo (Intimidator) supercharged, a 1988 Camaro, a 95ish monte carlo (think it was a z34), A newer Caddilac, An old VW beetle with a newer engine, A Mustang Cobra (newer), A 2001 Saleen Mustang, A newer Mach 1 Mustang, Another Mustang Cobra, A 94 SS Camaro, and the 30th Anniversary Firebird. Everything but Justin's (94 stang), mine, the other 94 stang, the formula, the 95 monte, and the vw bettle won a trophy. I kinda think that was rediculous becuase half the cars were just stock, and you could tell the owners didnt put much time into them. The Saleen especially pissed me off, I mean, yeah I like Saleens and all, but the woman gets out and asks her husband if it's supercharged. Thats just wrong. I think that at least the mustangs around me should have won because they have a lot of upgrades, and I know my car isnt heavily modded, but I put a lot of work into mine, as well as the other cars that didnt win. I just think they should have put that into consideration instead of "if its chrome, its fast".

Overall the car show kicked ***. There were a lot of awesome cars there, but I didnt see too many camaros . I was one of 2 93-97s. The one thing they should have done, that they did last year, was catogorize all the camaros together, the mustangs together, ect... I liked that better, because it just looks unorganized the other way, and when you have all the same kind of cars together it looks a lot better.

Overall we got some good photos, and it was worth it. I got to see lots of amazing machines, and spend some quality time with my good friends on my last day at home. Plus getting comments is also good; especially when you spend over 5 hours cleaning it, and getting it to shine in one day.

Oh yeah, that red 94 SS was pretty badass. Too bad the owner was kind of a di(k, so I didnt want to talk to him. My favorite camaro there was the orange SS, I'm guessing was a 69. That thing was just mean, and not to mention its my favorite year of older camaros.

He was proabaly a di(k becuase he realized his postion in life. A 94' V6 with a horible paint job and those silly headlights that he decided to buy a hood from RK Sport for too much money and slapped SS badges on the car. Probably got rimed from a bunch of chevy lovers with half a brain that knew the 4th gen SSs didn't come out till 96. I asume it's a v6 cuase his hatch is open but the hood is closed tight. What a tool.

Wow... i knew that about the 96 SS, but it didnt even click. I was in the zone when I got the response from him, and I felt the a sshole vibe. I was wondering why he had the hatch open the whole time, it looked really stupid. I also didnt like the paintjob... just didnt look right, same with the headlights, i just dont like those on camaros. as for the engine, he had to have swapped motors because there was no way it was a v6. It was very deep, I know a v8 when i hear one. Theres no way to get that sound from a 6.

Well most likly it was proabably a Z28 then. But why wouldnt' he have the hood open? Just kinda suspious to me. And I wouldnt be so sure about that sound from a V6. If you ever heard my car club's founder Russ's 3.4l and didnt know it was a 6... you'd think it was an 8. I kid you not.

Those could all be likely storys for him, I wish I could go back and check now. Now that I think about it, you could be right. He didnt have his hood open, and I just remembered that my friend said he went over there and the guy started it for him, but didnt rev it... which makes sense because you would probably be able to tell then. Im just remembering the sound though... he drove past me and it was incredibly loud, even if it were a V8 it was loud... he did give it a little gas a few times as he made his was to his spot. I dont know, and I guess I'll never know. Maybe next year.

I wish I would have actually used my knowledge in that situation. It would have been funny to see his reaction when I told him there were no SS's in 94. Just wasnt thinking :banghead:
