Last Photographs of Red Alert before Paint

I forget if you ever answered this Brian but, are you getting the whole car repainted or just the odd parts...
I really like how it looks with the side moldings gone.. Gives the car a real nice smooth look! And please paint the mirrors. I hate mirrors that are different color because the fender molds into them. I think the b-pillar looks good black but the mirrors dont..

Realized I didn't answer Danielle's question either. Replaced the entire front bumper because the previous owner hit a snow bank ( average woman, can't drive in the winter... ) during the winter, and it tore the bumper on the bottom, in the back by the wheel well, on the driver side turn signal, and also messed the mounting on both of the turn signals to the point that I could never get them to sit correctly in the bumper. That, added to the huge amount of stress cracks all over the bumper, it was easier to just replace the bumper for $106 than have to pay double that for labor on sanding it down, fiberglassing the tears, and all that stuff.
As for the whole mirror / C-pillar debate (B-Pillar is on sedans with two windows, folks, ours is the C-pillar because it forms a C. ) I'm leaving the mirrors and C-pillar black because personally I just like it more. Really, what I want to do is CF the C-pillar at some point, but until then it's staying black. It just would look corny (Sorry Caleb) if I had a red C-pillar and the rear hatch tinted (which then makes the rest of the windows seem darker), I just don't like the look. For the mirrors, those are staying black and I plan to get CF covers for those as well (If I could, I would do CF stripes and totally make it red and cf instead of red, black, and cf)

god ******. Those ********. I took my car for another estimate today, originally it was $1400 to paint the panels themselves, and then $3300 to do the whole car.
For the $1400, they had $375 for a new front bumper (from GM Dealership), $275 for stripes (again, from GM Dealership), $35 for new emblems, etc, etc. Apparently, they also didn't include the price for the side skirt ground effects. So, I purchased the new bumper so that I could save on cost, told them to paint the stripes (they said it would only be $200 then), and don't worry about emblems. All in all, we figured it'd come to $800 - $1200 since we replaced the bumper, since they're painting the stripes, adding in the price for painting the side skirts, and since I told him don't worry about replacing the emblems as I already have aftermarket ones to put on.
I took it in today for a new estimate, they wanted to see all the parts that they have to paint. So I went in and showed the guy the car, told him everything I wanted them to do and such. Got the estimate faxed to my dad.... $1900. "We need to remove all the parts that you put on so we can properly paint them and blend them in, and since the spoiler and rear ground effects are a lot more area to cover than we originally planned for [they planned for a factory RS spoiler and rear bodykit piece], and then adding on the price of the side skirts." Now I just feel like I'm getting *** raped. The only good part about it is that it'll be done in time for Woodward Dreamcruise still, and they'll have to put the ground effects, hood, and bumper back on... so that means when they put it on, they'll align it so everything fits **** good.
