So basically they just replace the normal bulb then?

I want to do LEDs behind my guages.. my water temp and oil pressure lights burnt out so I need to take it apart at some point. I wouldnt mind putting them around the interior.

I also ordered LEDs for the gauge cluster. I took it all apart and realized most of the lights can't be directly replaced. You can replace the odometer lights with LEDs but it does not look very good because they just look like bright blobs...LEDs don't out light too well. I decided to order a white gauge face plate with blue light.

Actually you can do all the lights in the cluster, including the service lights (at least on a 96 WS6, maybe the SS's are different ?).

In person the LED's look completely balanced for dispersion in the night pic ( in the picture they appear to have hot spots, but really don't. ) Probably has something to do with taking pics with a cell phone
