you can't tell in that video, but something is terribly wrong with either a) the lightning b) the driver, or c) all of the above.

There is no way a Camaro running a 1/4 in (the board looks like 14.1) took a L by that much

hes right. like i said before 2nd faster production truck and they are fast mothers. my dads 99 Dakota R/T is now the third fastest production truck i think. his truck is fast as hell against normal traffic and most other cars on the road, but when he went to the track it only ran a 15.9 i think. they lightning would smoke my dads truck too, and just in general the lightning is nothing you should mess with unless your seriously ready to go cause it will suprise the **** out of u. go race one if you dont beleive us.

what do u have done for performance besides the motor rebuild and what exactly was put into it that isnt stock parts.(pistons, heads, ne thing that will boost your hp a lot!)

The stock numbers for a LT1 are pretty slow too, so don't go by what you read in a magazine..

lol. LT1s are supposed to run 14.3 or somethign stock but thats book numbers. the guy who i bought mine from said he ran a 13.9 in my car. now thats no muffle so a lot more free flowing, K&N intake, TB bypass and also its a stick with a hurst shifter. stock for stock a stick will take any auto most of the time.
