designed by Al Melling, the genius behind the TVR AJP engines. The Hellcat is powered by a V10 of Melling's own design. The dry sump equipped engine produces 713bhp at 7200rpm and 604lb ft of torque at 5700rpm in road guise (it'll be restricted 618bhp and 544lb ft in the FIA GT series). The car itself weighs in at a meager 1220kg (falling to 1106kg in race trim). Best of all, the Hellcat is set to go into production this November for around £100,000 at the rate of 4 cars a week.
I just hope this doesnt turn out like a TVR or Marcos, with bits of plastic wanting to come off everytime you hit top speed.
And for the love of god, add a wing there for downforce. or at least Venturi diffusers to stabalize the car.
