No, this motor was built a number of years ago by Kenny Duttweiler, but I've freshened it up and done a few thing since then. (I have had a motor done at Ken S shop with good success though). Ken S has been kind enough to let me use his shop when he goes south every couple of months.

The car runs well but I've lost interest in it because I've been having more fun on my bike. MOT and MOE don't hassle you for no reason on a bike like they do in a car, and I guess I just tired of the Gestapo attitude they have.

I haven't lost interested in it, I can take care of it for the summer for you :)

I'm so pissed that I never got to see it run... that time at Cayuga when you blew one of the rear CV joints (?) I was getting all excited just hearing that turbo spool up and seeing the suspension hunch down as you applied power at the line... then the light turned green and you moved like 2'. Ah well.

Didn't know you were there at Cayuga. Next time say hello. It was the rear DS spindle that broke. I went through 6 of them in two years. Solved the problem with a couple 5440 rockwell hard ones from Texas.

I've used the big brutes and the spicers. Both hold up ok.... about every 2 years I change them when they get noisy.

mclaren55, I'm still going to take the car to the States for the American Supercar races. (Vettes vs Vipers) and the Buick GSCA meet in Bowling Green, Ky.
American Supercar Challenge
Race records (The little V6 still holds a record)
GSCA Nationals (Buicks)

yeah i'm not too happy with the spircers... I just replaces them and i think the cap cracked again on one side
Did you get them locally or from the US?

Got them from Fred over at Dynamic. Didn't find much difference between the two.

what did they run you? Did you get the OE spicers or the cold-forged versions?

I have the cold forged on the car now.... got them from a friend, but it's too early to tell if they are good.
