I can't remember if I posted updated pics here.. obviously not in the build thread. Some pics from the summer with the roll bar mounted and settled suspension:

Plans for this year:

- new head (don't ask about the current one, it's a disaster that needs to go)
- minor headwork (P+P, cams maybe) if I can find a shop to do it (any recommendations??) (might do it myself if I find a one to practice on)
- MegaSquirt ECU and dyno tune - once again need a shop
- toying with the idea of IRTB if there is $$ and time for it

- Maybe get around to redoing all the suspension bushings.. it's a bitch of a job but I have the bushing kit I bought last year and I should do it.
- New brake rotors pads lines.

I never did get around to tracking it last year too many things going on (also just plain having fun driving around) but this year there is renewed interest.

Thanks.. I do want to do the v8 conv at some point, just probably won't happen until I have garage space and 10k falling out of my wallet. I'll probably get a 90-97 shell, gutted, fender flares, 9" wheels, and 400hp :)

i saw the first one on "gears" on speed. The miata had a body kit on it that made it look earopean, looked so amazing; but the handling of the miata with a v8, looks like so much fun

Flyin' Miata : Projects: The V8 Miata Project

Build of an LS1 swap. Pretty hardcore.

Widebody miatas with a v8 are super sick.

That would be such an exciting car to drive. I find the 4 banger to be a bit under powered for my like.

Either way, nice Miata! You should go turbo... check out www.miataturbo.net

I gots one. And no the NA interior is larger because the NB is newer and uses more bulky on the inside.

Yeah you would think it was bigger being a 'newer' car but it's the opposite. Best to actually sit in them before calling one or the other.. they are pretty roomy on the inside. I'm 6'2" 190lb and fit fine.
