first off thanks for the compliments!
now in order to take them from the ps2 to the computer, you might have slight issues. if you've already taken them it sounds like you've probably saved them to your memory card. that lowers the visual quality slightly (i think). but basically you need to plug a storage device into a usb port on the ps2. at first i was using my media reader for my digital camera. now i'm borrowing my dad's thumbdrive (much much quicker).
so from there it's like using a digital camera, plug the device into the usb port on the computer and either transfer them to the hard drive and upload them or just upload them from the device if that's all you want to do with them. any more questions about that?

How do take pictures of a race? I know you can go to the track and take pics in pic mode, but I cant get any from an actual race?

to take pics of a race, you simply save a replay of a race then go to the replay theatre and hit select and there you have it!
