how about a dark night shot with your car pointing at a wall, to see how well they actually look?

Oh god... another person that has to blind oncoming traffic.

Civic lights and HID's don't mix at all... they're horrible for the driver and even worse for oncoming traffic. The beam cut off is non existent.

That doesn't do squat on Civics... their headlights just don't work with HID bulbs... the light point is just way off, so all you get is glare. It's horrible.

Not only that, it doesn't even light up the road much more... sure it's brighter, but it doesn't have a very nice beam pattern, so all the bright light is useless.

notorious vr Im quite aware of all aspects of hid's. But the question at the end of the day is do you like them? Put aside that they should be in a retrofited hid housing. I am quite pleased wit them. Its not like half the ppl in Toronto know how to drive anyways.

Do I like them in YOUR car? No. Do I like them in proper housings or HID lighting in general, yes of course... they're meant to make driving safer for you and others around you. Unfortunately you and others seem to think it's the cool thing to do just because it "looks" good.

And your argument is that it's ok to blind people because everyone else can't drive well but you can? That's a great attitude you have. It's actually people with that attitude that make our roads dangerous. The I don't give a about others attitude. Eye for an eye eh?

Not trying to start or anything. But if you agree with what he says. Why didn't you get headlights with the proper HID fitment?

i agree with both of you i would personally get hids regardless of whatever
my ride is ....however i like custom touches that not only look good but are
functional as well..in this case the solution is a s2k or tsx projector
it wouldn't blend in much with the jdm look but that is 1 aspect to sacrifice
