Well, I put 528 kms on the Altima this weekend, and put 52l of fuel in it this morning. That makes 10l/100km, average, city and highway, and way better than my 94 Jetta. I'm kind of shocked, since the altima is way bigger than the Jetta, and has a 2.5l 4 cyl with a 5 speed and I haven't exactly been easy on it. LOL. It'll do 145 km/h in 4th, and well, I'm not going to say how fast I've gone, but it was a fast trip to Mississauga on Saturday night. The Jetta used to be able to do 10l/100km highway, but never city. Sure it was an auto, but it only had a 1.8l motor.
Lets just leave it at I'm very impressed with the Altima, and well, I'm not giving up my Rabbit, but the newer VW's can kiss my ***.
