Well, the hood is being painted. But the sides of the cowl are being left carbon fiber. I've photoshopped it alot of ways, and its the only way that turned out halfway decent. I'd love to do some type of carbon fiber flame design, but there would be no way to replicate carbon fiber on the fiberglass fenders or nose, so thats out. But I think this will bring the car together quite well.

Have you tried contacting anyone about custom making the nose and fenders in carbon fiber? If that could be done then getting the carbon fiber flame thing would be no problem. I'd look into that before painting the hood something you dont realy want. Sure it might be pricey but damn - it's those kinda things that win car shows!
