eh...sorta. the actual faceplate is pretty easy...but i did have to file away some of the corners of the white part so it would fit over my head unit...and like i mentioned i had to shim the bottom of it so it would fit snug...

and if you get the lighted one you might have to buy new wire strippers....the wire is 24 gauge and my strippers only went to 22.

the power i wired to the dimmer switch. the ground was simply the radio's ground.

Sometime in the future I plan on getting one of those.. You think it would be cool to hook it up to the power of the radio lights? So when they are on its on too, or would it be a waste?

that would be a ***** to do since you'd have to tap into the internal parts of the radio
