its ugly as ****, but then again if you are more concerned with how a car looks, than how well it performs.. then you are gay.

Thats not true. You wouldn't drive something hideous just cuz its fast. Plus id rather loose the couple HP and have AC rather than a hole in my roof. Thats gotta suck driving in the rain.

thats wrong.. this car is being built as a weekend track car. this isnt aimed at a daily driver role, but as a car that you CAN drive daily, but is optimized for a better track experience. it allows you to own one car that can do both things.
the removal of the a/c is not for power, but for a loss of weight which is FAR more important.
i already drive a "hideous" looking car because its "fast".
form FOLLOWS function.

get over yourself bud. you sound like an idiot.
looks matter as much as if not more then the power. im not talking about wings and kits and such, but the way a car looks from factory.
would you pay ferrari sticker price if all it was was a ferrari engine in a civic body? no, cause it looks like . you want the ferrari styling to go with the power.
go preach your honda loving attitude somewhere else.

i don't buy a car as a personal accessory, i buy a car for its performance capabilities.
this civic happens to be a great car for its intended purpose and in its segment. the regular euro type-r is a joke, underpowered and overweight in a segment dominated by better handling, more powerful cars. this one brings it up to par with the competition, but with a more track biased edge, which puts it out on top in my opinion.
the only reason you would be concerned with how a car looks is because you are concerned with how other people view YOU. when you are driving you cant see your car... but you can enjoy (or in your case not enjoy) its performance. that leaves you with low self esteem, trying to "look cool" by associating youself with what you think is a "good looking" car. if you were more secure with yourself you would care more with what your car can do... not what other people think of you.
if you are so concerned with looking pretty, go buy a nice purse to go with the rest of your personal accessories.
if you like cars, go buy one that does its only job well (its only job is to drive... a parked car is useless).

grow up chief.
having a nice looking car as well as a good performing car is better then having some heap (like that civic rrrr-rrr----rrr-r-r-r-whatever) that only "performs". its not for others, its also for oneself.
let me ask you...do you ever wash and wax your car?
if so, why? wtf do you car about looks for?
im guessing you also have a personal motto, something along the lines of, "ask any racer, any real racer, it doesnt matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winnings winning!"
after all, you are a REAL racer!

i think that quote is from the original fast and furious movie right? wasnt that about 10 years ago? and you're still quoting it?
i wash my car, and occasionally i wax it etc.. but that is to keep it in good condition. honestly, i could care less about cleaning it and hoping someone notices its clean...
if i cared about looks i wouldnt have bought the year of car i did, or definately the colour, but i bought it for "the car", because it does what i want it to do, and does what i want it to do well.
i feel sorry for you, that you need to have "things" to make you feel like you're better than you are. usually ignorant people suffer from feelings of insecurity... i don't want to suggest that you are one of these people, but you sure fit the bill.
how many other track biased cars are in the hot-hatch segment? not too many, and this one has been engineered to be very well sorted. most cars are put together to appeal to a wide group. the compromises that most models have, have been stripped from this car to make it a serious performer. i can respect that, and if you were a true car-guy you would respect that as well, instead of hiding behind an ill-placed badge inferiority complex.
its funny watching you argue your same-old points over and over in every post. i realize that you know basically nothing about cars. you are a brand ... worse than most women... clueless. oh well, i'll be out enjoying my car while you sit in your driveway leaning on yours hoping someone will see you and not think "what a loser" as they do when you're not standing beside your "awesome looking" car.

I gotta agree with StealthZ. Besides. If its a track car and its soo concerned about performance. Why is it front wheel drive? Last I checked FWD is only good in either a straight line or for groceries. People that justify their car looking like but still being fast are just making excuses for not being able to afford a car that can do both. Why buy a car thats ugly and fast when you can buy one thats fast, classy, good looking and comfy?
