I've ordered something over a month and a half ago that should have taken 2 wks, 3 wks max to get here, and it still isn't here. Because of this the date for painting my car has been pushed back repeatedly, made it so that I will not make the one car show I absolutely wanted to make, and has set back the body shop where Mayhem is at because my car is first in line. I bought something for the car a week and half ago, and have got it from a different co. that was farther away already, and this one part I'm waiting for has yet to be shipped out still, and worse yet, I learned the other day that there are 17 people going through what I am, but yet there is no notice or warning on this part mentioning the delay, so people are still buying it and getting stuck waiting still.

yea, alot of times parts are back orderd and they dont tell u... hmm shoulda known that i guess and they should have told u if they were a reputable co.

LM Performance. So they are both starting to look bad. If they are a good company they tell you when there is a probelm like they don't have any and they are backordered. If I hadn't strted pestering them, I'd still have no idea what's going on. I just e-mailed FD to see what's going on with the part, LMP says that FD isn't relaible and hasn't sent any out yet. Either way, I'm getting pretty ticked off. I'm ready for paint, I have the colors all picked out and pretty much decided on, and am just gonna go ahead and order them this week instead of waiting much longer. That way when (if) it ever gets here, everything will just be ready to go.

LM Performance seems to be a pretty decent company, as I've delt(sp) with them before, with my Loudmouth and Lid. Maybe they've changed since then? idk, just a thought.

That shows a bad relationship that is about to end, a dealer should never badmouth a vendor to a customer buying that product.Backorders happen, some companies don't tell anyone (most auto parts companies)

yeah, there is. if its backordered that bad, they need to tell someone, instead of just f'ing other people over, too.. They've set my car back from getting done, if it wasn't for this, the car would have been painted already. Depending on how much longer it eventually takes, neither place will get my business again.

nope, never needed to. Probably won't be dealing with LPM either anymore. Most of the companies I've dealt with, if something is backordered like that have e-mailed me to tell me, and asked if i still wanted to keep my order. All LPM has done is try to sell me the RkSport 3-piece foar $100 more.

yeah more money I don't think so, tell them it sounds like bait and switch, and you'll contact not only the better business bureau, but the state attorney general.

we'll see what FD says in their e-mail. I asked them if they were out of stock themselves, or if something was wrong that they weren't supplying the part. We'll see what they say.
