Heres a testing video : YouTube - SBC V8 Supra
Engine/Turbo has been 7.17@ 201 in an outlaw 10.5 car

Heres the Twin GT47 LSX car...mid burn-out, yoke snapped and the driveshaft smacked the floor pan setting BOTH AIR BAGS off! This puppy has 2300+HP

(its previous 2JZ had 1300WHP)

The sky is the limit with V8's...
Even Brad Personett (who had a 6.60 sec 2JZ Scion TC) is now working the bugs out of a twin turbo HEMI Pro Mod 53 Vette...
Imports are like training wheels...

Ya but show me a V8 from factory that can lay down over a 1000 whp and be reliable. The 2JZ has proven it's self time and again to be one of the best production engines for power potential. Either way, a 1000 whp and rear wheel drive = insane.

Uhh pick one? A ****ing 283 w/ 50psi will spank a 2JZ..
A guy I know went 8:20 in a single Turbo chevelle w/ a stock block (unfilled) 350 and it made well OVER 1000HP...boost is very easy on parts (FYI)
Big 3 V8's are known to take 250 nitrous shots BONE STOCK..your Honda??? 50 shot. Dont even TALK about reliability SON..

I am not going to get into a keyboard fight with you but just so your not posting bad information on here, I will make some points.....I also don't drive a Honda.
Yes V8's can make more power, more displacement = more power. But you’re not comparing apples to apples. A 2JZ supra motor is an inline 6 3 liter compared to a 283 which is a 4.3 L.
Also a majority of V8's have higher compression pistons which make it very hard to boost as you run into detonation issues. Their pistons are not designed to be boosted and therefore have a hard time taking any detonation. Boost is not very easy on parts because of this.
I will agree if you could get a stock 283 to handle 50 psi it would put out some good numbers, but I don't think it is possible with out upgraded pistons / rods and a pile of Alcohol or Methanol.
I’m in no way bashing V8's but am just saying the 2JZ is a very good production motor that has been able to make some serious power.

Stock pistons / Stock rods making 1152 hp at the motor. Pretty nice training wheels....
