that trans with very little mods will handle over 400 wheel hp (that's quite a bit at the flywheel) if you don't do brake stands it won't kill the trans (and the rearend and a few other parts)

where you getting robbed at? the price on a tci one is a little over a grand and $500 should put it in (it's about a 2 to 3 hour job at the most on a lift)
