it only took 11 months

but my fender and bumper are finally fixed. had a friend of mine do it. $200 parts and labor, and the filler for urethane aint cheap. im deciding on what to do about the finish...im going to repaint the whole car around feb, but i dont know if i should paint it so its not red...

anyway you may be asking, why am i going to repaint it if im going to sell it? well cuz im not gonna sell it. even though its leaking oil and has small problems, im too much of a car guy to own a hyundai. this car is just too fun.

anyway here are the pics:

Are you going to have him repaint the entire front bumper?

I'm so happy to hear you aren't going to sell it though. The Trans Am is just to much of a fun car to give up.

Cool I bet you feel alot better about your car now. glad to hear your keepin it. I would get sum paint on that sooner of at least some primer so the filler dont soak up too much moisture.

Good decision Caleb. When you paint, what color are you going with?

either paint it now or you have to strip that primer off before painting (primer absorbs water like a sponge

Indeed.

I'd just put a layer of rattlecan over the primer and sand it off later if you plan on waiting to paint...
