Just like the Supra wouldn't sell, or the MR-S (in Canada) ..... Oh but we love our Echo hatchbacks.

they did, Stillen did one as a demonstration vehicle, 3uz-fe with 6spd from Supra, the feedback wasn't that great, the car was only faster than the GS by like two tenths of seconds, and market research show people much rather buy a GS than a V8 IS.
