Man, I'm totally not used to seeing an F-Body without t-tops... the headliner really threw me off.
You non-Ttop guys should consider a mod I was planning on doing. Find the center overhead console out of a late model Blazer/Jimmy... You know, the one with the temperature and direction in 'em? Retro-fit one of those in. It should fit nicely in the middle of the roof. I totally wish I had done it to mine.
Makes a great spot to install a concealed radar/laser detector too. You'll be the only F-Body in town with a temperature/compass ... AND an overhead console.

You could still fit an overhead console on a ttop car.. It still has that bar in the middle.. The only problem is that the console will come down and might be to low (if you know what I mean)

eh im not too sure about the overhead console.. i think it may look to cluttered, and come down too low for my liking.. plus stuff that is retro fitted in from other vehicles just doesnt always seem to flow well.. plus what do i really need a compass or a thermometer for? i have the weather channel and i could care less which direction im driving as long as i get there..
id be more likely to put in one of the rearview mirrors from a new tahoe/suburban that have the compass and thermometer built into them

And it'll flow fine, late-model GM to late-model GM? My parents have a Jimmy back home, trust me, it'll look awesome.

eh.. no need for a radar detector.. 90% of the time you dont get pulled over by cops that are staked out or shooting radar.. at least not where i live.. usually they get you when your just passing by or you drive up on them or something, plus i dont speed much.. im fine without it.. and it would kind of defeat the purpose of removing the sunvisors and redoing the headliner so that it was smooth if i go back and start cluttering it back up..
would be interesting to see tho.. so give it a shot man.. more power to ya just not something i think id particularly like..
