thanks guys. and it is the 305. or as i say the 3h0e5. 5.7L were ONLY in hardtops on 3rd gens. the 305 was in ALL t top and convertible cars. it was because they couldnt' come up with a good way to keep the frame stiff with the added torque.
and to the person who said they wanted a t top Z28 there's a '91 Z28 ttop car, exactly the same color as my convertible for sale about 5 min, from my house
