Too much money not enough brains. One plastic car down, lots to go. As long as the driver's OK.

I've been noticing you bash a lot of other makes of cars...don't worry, VW is not the best, not even close. They're nice cars, but don't pretend you have the best wheels on the road...that was high school talk

Just don't like vettes. And tired of seeing civics. I don't recall saying VW was the best. I'm just tired of seeing those 2 cars. Lets be honest, the vette could be a lot better from the factory. They just get it to a point where it's "good enough", and leave it there for a few years. I would honestly love to see Honda redo the vette, and see what they could come up with using 6l of displacement. Or Mitsu, or any foreign manufacturer. The Vette, IMO, is one of the most overrated cars of all time. We can build a Golf, Jetta, Civic, Prelude, Evo, Eclipse, etc, for less than half the cost, that would take it in the 1/4, slalom, braking, skid pad, gas mileage, and insurance. So what's so great about the Vette? And it's not that hard to get a Golf, civic, whatever into the low 12's.

What's wrong with you...you're putting Preludes and other FWD grocery getter in the same picture as a Vette (by saying they can be build just as fast). Come on man, you've been watching too many internet vids or something. nobody wants to give the FRONT WHEELS of a shitty *** Prelude that many ponies. Step on the gas a little and try to make a turn or something...pretty much pointless.

you know better than that...

The Vette is fine the way it is. If it was expensive maybe then you could've said it's too much or too over-rated etc etc. For its price range it's just fine.

Trust me, it's our Canadian lifestyle and economy that leads us to think the way we do. Go outside Canada in other countries (of course not thrid world) and see their lifestyle. In the U.S, for example, none of this flies man. People have more disposable income than you or me. We could hold the same type of education/job, yet end up with more money at home in the U.S.

Canada is pretty much the last place to be for car enthusiasts (or anyone with a hobby for that matter). All we do here is work work work and pay ing taxes to the mothering gov't. This is the reason why you seem to think a Vette is over-priced. aranoid:

Think about it...
peace
