That's the way it is supposed to look, black hood and lip. I have dealt with lots of spoon parts for people (I import them for certain people) and the body parts are mainly carbon fiber. Though these don't look like they are from this view, it might be meant to give it that same look (though I'd stick with the spoon carbon fiber lip and hood, more expensive but great weight reduction).
