Here is the aftermath from a MK4's driveshaft from TX2K5.

10.90@128 Stock Twins, With Nitrous...80 degrees with humidity
10.74@133 PT-67, No Nitrous...1.75 60', Missed 5th gear and got kicked out
10.07@140.38 1/4 --- 6.5@111.63 1/8 GTR70, No Nitrous...1.590 60'

Zlatko has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Nice..i have a video of an E36 twisting it's driveshaft...so ing twisted..but it wasnt as bad as this supra though..god..

what is clutch slipping and why is it neccessary? i think i might know what it is but not sure that is the term used. should i go watch F&F again?

A lot less shock to the system. Eases the power onto the drivetrain without breaking things, like this.

I am pretty sure that is the stock 2 piece (now 3 piece) driveshaft.

Here is another broken driveshaft, but this one is from a MK3 (600+whp), and it is a one piece carbon fiber driveshaft.

And just for the hell of it, this happened on the same day the white mk3 snapped the CF driveshaft.

Like vin diesel said in F&F, he blew the welds on the intake.

Nitrous went off while the throttle plate was closed durring a shift, when it opened the built up pressure exploded everything. For the record, this MK3 made a 799whp dyno pull about 5 hours earlier (stock bottom end) and still coasted to a low 11 second ET when this incident happened.
