If you're gonna paint it. Whats the point in getting CF? I know its lighter but compared to other things you can do to your car to reduce the weight. A CF hood won't make that much of a difference. Unless you're car is already completely stripped out.

because that hood literally cost me 40 dollars. i had baught a truck to offroad in and my buddy had one aswell, and he baught some bigger tires so he gave me his 33 inch mud tires for the cost of mjounting his 35 inch tires. 40 bucks. so when i baught 35 inch tires i decided to sell mine and put them up for 240. a guy comes along and says ive got an oem cf hood for your car, ill trade yo for the light bar and tires on your truck. light bar was going withthe next scrap run cause i was putting a cap on the truck. so in the end this hood only cost 40 bucks
plus mine already had some rust and was stone chipped to death. car has had some weight cut out. every pound helps
and thanks again to the comments, that intercooler took 3 cutting blades to make fit, had to modify the rebar 2 inches up and 2 inches in

thanks guys, the hood flexes alot so im gonna see what we can do to keep paint from flaking off it if we paint it.
anti rice, yes sir that was definatly me. car was dirty as that day as we were really late leaving the area and had an encounter with the law enforcment on the hiway that set us back a little more even. dont really like leaving the hood open if im not around the car. too many things people can touch or play with, my msd box sits there and its a 2 second deal to flick one of the pins on it and cause havoc with my ignition, someone can be funny and turn down the fmu or who knows. guess im just paranoid, lol. what car were you in? would i have maybe seen it?

heres and under hood shot for those interested. the rusty bolts were a free gift from my engine builder, he said here you go, i threw in stainless bolt compliments of my shop, im like man i didnt want stainless bolts, theres nothing shiney under my hood, and now look, they rusted. im thinking the dick just sand blasted the factory bolts and assumed bare metal wouldnt rust
