Pictures of the Sunco Hood on My Z

Pictures don't do the hood justice, it looks absolutly beautiful! Armando the shop manager is the one that put it on and just let me say he is about the best guy you can do busniess with. He was really down to earth and straight forward, a really nice guy all around. He even showed me around the shop and a bunch of the other FBody hoods, I must say the LT1 3" SS hood is a lot wider than I thought it was but very nice non the less. He was telling me they can't keep up with the demand for carbon fiber work and after seeing it I understand why. I thought fiberglass was light but there's no comparison to carbon fiber.

Oh the Sunco hood has a screen on the back of it, I thought it would just be open like my cowl induction hood but it isn't. It really add's to the hood. Needless to say I couldn't be happier with the company or the hood.

Please don't post these pictures anywhere else. This is hood #1 with the line and we need to let VFN post the pictures themselves since it is their hood.

Every time I decide to buy a new hood and spoiler I get told to buy the SS one's. How lame is that?! If I wanted an SS I'd buy one.

Anyways I appreciate it, I'm thinking I'll paint it red with black on the side's of the cowl. Best part is because I was willing to drive the 1.5 hours both ways to help them out they are selling me the hood at a big discount, can't complain with that. I didn't know they were going to do that but I do appreciate it.

I agree, I really don't see getting any body kit. The only thing I would buy would be the fender's but nobody makes them.

I can type fast, just not correctly.

Seriously though one thing I like about the hood is how smooth the lines are. The regular 4 inch cowl looks good too but the lines are to sharp for a late model 4th gen.

I agree completely, I love the way the 4" looked on my '94 but it wouldn't look good at all on my '99. This is simply the best hood for my car.

Not bad Chad. Not bad at all. I do however think that a ground effects kit would really set it all off now. But thats my opinion. I still think my cowl looks meaner.
