Porsche 911 GT3 by J.N Hephaiss

The very first model from JNH is the Porsche GT3 (Type 996), one of the top performance cars on public roads among naturally-aspirated engine cars. Power performance and instant acceleration that tops 300km/h, sharp handling and gear sound, it’s completely different from the standard Carrera.

The humble appearance and exhaust sound of GT3, are the main reason why JNH went into the lab for a year to create the extreme Porsche. The final product, aggressive and so fitting of its power, adds an impact to its slender body of the GT3. At the same time, it exceeds the functionality of the original car in terms of aerodynamics and cooling effect.

Body Parts
So outstanding is the four tail pipe exhaust system that can manually be switched to circuit (loud)/ public (silent) sound mode. It achieves the highest level in performance, durability with sound quality no worse than the one of Ferrari and sound volume no lower than the racing Porsche on the circuit. It’s particularly worth mentioning that with only a push of a button, it is switched to public sound mode, the volume level becomes almost identical to the one of the original exhaust system so that smooth and safe driving on city streets are assured.

Front Bumper
JNH didn’t like the dull impression of original GT3 front bumper. It didn't fit with the JNH motto ‘sharp’ ‘stylish’ and ‘speedy’. The new front bumper adopts a genuine combination lens of Type 997 which only adds the authentic flavor to it.

Not to be underestimated, JNH has put as much research and passion into functionality. JNH’s font bumper can be bolted-on to the under panel to fully ride on the beauty of original flat bottom. By lowering the lip section by 20mm to create an upsweep, downforce is vastly improved. The straightforward stability and the road-hugging performance are achieved by adopting a large canard design on both sides that erase the ever-lasting fear of the Porsche that the more you accelerate, the lighter you feel at the front.

In terms of cooling, large ducts are efficiently in place at center and side section, which along with elaborately designed approach of the bumper, improves the cooling by 30 %. Carbon Center Duct Fin, which comes with the Front Bumper, is developed to accelerate the flow of air and the driving stability, can be attached upon your request.

Side Step
At the initial development stage of the Side Step, JNH decided to go against the common approach of decorating and dressing-up….what is proudly presents as JNH’s Side Skirt, the Carbon Splitter is the end result of extensive research and continuous pursuit of aerodynamic effect.

It can be attached to the original body without the trouble of custom fitting. But the secret here is at the bottom. The aerodynamic strake, designed to stream accumulated air to the rear, is only visible when you actually kneel down. Only the owners know it’s there and experience how it works.

Looking on the outside, the carbon splitter is mounted on FRP Skirt which embodies the speed and thrill of racing. Each part is firmly connected by antirust titanium joint rod. This splitter dramatically improves the flow of air and along with aerodynamic strake, reduces the air pressure on rear tires to the minimum.

Rear Bumer & Under Diffuser
It usually starts with design and ends there. Not a possibility with digital design, it’s only made possible by numerous manual procedures called ‘Analog modeling’.

The bottom of the center section is lifted to take off unnecessary massiveness on the premise of adopting under diffuser that is the symbol and pride of ground effect cars. State-of-the-art modeling is particularly noticeable at side section and this is what JNH represents.

Rear Wing
It’s as easy as bolting on to the original wing stay. However, there's nothing easy about designing JNH’s rear wing. Working diligently on the design of rear wing stay to create ‘Oneness’ with the approach area of the flap.

Owners can select material, FRP or Carbon, for this dual type flap which is very high in flexibility. Taking carbon for both flaps creates an aura of premium while the combination of the carbon main flap with FRP sub flap adds some cutting edge flavor.

The sub flap is also adjustable so that owners can set up the best angle for various circuits. Even more, it can be taken off easily for top speed situation.

Sitting on both sides with huge presence is the wing tip blades for which owners can also choose either FRP or carbon material.

Exhaust System
Contrary to being called ‘The racing car on the public road’, many owners are not satisfied with the exhaust sound of the GT3. Owners can enjoy racing taste to some extent even in its original style but we took it further to be in the school of GT1 sound, to free up the engine and to find the ‘natural exhaust sound’.

Of particular note is the automatic switch-over system which changes from circuit mode (loud) to public sound (silent - identical level as original exhaust system) mode with only a push of button. This enables owners to reduce the stress often caused by a changing exhaust system - starting engine in the wee hours of morning, warm-up operation in suburbs and parking at home in the midnight just to name a few.

Side Mirrors
This side mirror is designed to reduce air resistance coefficient and to maximize the visibility.

Upon first look, it might be regarded as conventional design, however, the silhouette perfectly matches with the elegant line that extends from bonnet and fender.

This is evident when looking from the front side.

There are two types of material for this product, one is FRP and the other is Carbon/FRP hybrid. The latter is molded and completed with a FRP clear gelcoat finish except the surface is carbon. It often happens with wet carbon molding that resin does not reach the corners and edges, making the color clouded and fold line decrepit. As we want our products to be treasured for long time and as a countermeasure to aged deterioration, Carbon/FRP hybrid is adopted.

just to inform you guys, that this car was slammed by the Porsche community. They absolutely hated the riced out body kit.

Check www.6speedonline.com and look for the post. They all hated it.

I personally like the exhaust and the rear under-tray/splitter whatever u wan call it. The rest is pure rice.

I don't understand.. some of the styling is interesting, but the huge spoiler sucks. And all they did was exhaust? I'd rather have a stock GT3
