It was alot faster to just tape over them and paint rather than taking everything off painting it and putting everyrything back on.. I even thought about painting them black to make them look better.. And that little bar type thing, I dont know what its called but I was going to paint that black also so it wasnt the resty color it is now.. But never got to it..

well, in time the hood will be necessary, as the final plan for my car calls for an engine swap... you can get a 383 stroker on ebay for like 3 grand that'll push 400hp+ so as long as I have the suspension mods and what not it sounds good to me, and I'm sure if I look around locally I could find someone that can do it for the same price maybe cheaper, maybe not, who knows... it won't be for like 10 years or so but it's the ultimate goal to shoot for.

you're like me. You have your plans worked out so that they finish in a long time. I'm moving piece by piece. Exterior looking good, interior looking good(to match exterior), and then I can get into the expensive stuff.

well, I just purchased one item that's in the concept that I don't have yet, and hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have the final item that's missing.

just that and you'll be done with the exterior?!? lol, just kidding you. I don't know how my exterior plans are going to be finished yet(or at least finished to what I want now). All is depending on Ryan going to talk about the repaint before I can get my hopes up...

its supposed to be done by a professional as a favor for no cost(unless he has a hard time getting the paint). If not - back to Earl Scheib under warrenty for free. And this time I am ripping these people a new you-know-what. Even if I don't need them to repaint it, I'm still going off on the place.

Not trying to sound like an *** but I don't see why you should rip them a new one. Your asking for a good paint job at a very cheap price.

because they still can't do what they say. The paint is alreasy starting to come off the car, and its still under warrenty. THey didn't even take the license plate off, they just taped it off(which actually would take more time) They promise a good paint job at their prices, and if you advertise it, you better do it. All they do is clean it off and spray it basically, they do no bodywork or anything, and at $750 it could at least last more than a year.
