i had the valve covers off because i was hearing tapping sounds .......so i needed to tighten them a little.....and i dont think having them off hurts the engine

what do you all think about the sound the rockers was making?It sounded like popping sound....i going to try putting some of that seafoam through the intake and oil and see if my car runs any better

couldnt really hear it in the video but is it making a knockin sound?

how cold was it when you were running it? my engine knocks like its falling apart when its cold out, but when its around 50 degrees or warmer its quiet as a mouse.

it wasnt frigid cold but it was cold .....i think its got something to do with the lack of oil around the rockers....now correct me if im wrong but didnt u guys notice that there wasnt any oil shooting through the pushrods. i dont think its suppose to do that right?

it depends, ive seen some motors shoot a little and run fine, and then like on my dads old chevelle, when he pulled the valve cover off the oil shot over the fender.lol. you might wanna get it checked out tho. easy way is clean up the insides od the valve covers, put them back on drive around for a while then take them off and they SHOULD have a nice coating, if not check it out more.
